Fellowship Research

Fellows will spend 9-12 months of block time during senior year for research training. Fellows will complete research in the following areas:

  • Sarcoidosis
  • Complications of bone marrow transplant/oncologic therapies.
  • Sleep medicine/control of breathing
  • All Sleep Medicine Fellows will participate in clinical human research projects during the course of the fellowship.
  • The research interests of the WSU Sleep Research Laboratory include control of breathing during sleep, role of gender in the pathogenesis of sleep-disordered breathing, and upper airway mechanics during sleep.
